A gaggle of magical pots...
My daughter Danielle makes these wonderful pots that are paddled so they nest together. The smaller ones she used as wedding favors. I mixed the tiny ones up with some pots she made me for Christmas to make this flock, herd, gaggle of pots that meanders across my dining room table. They look like I should fill them with magic potions, genie oil or fairy dust, but I decided to leave them empty since they are quite magical as they are.
Tree of life revisited...
I made this pendant during a PMC certification class I took a few years ago. I found it this morning while I was rummaging through my jewelry. It is one of my favorites, but it didn't occur to me until today that it shares something in common with my bottle trees. It was made out of scraps. I had a little pile of bits of PMC paper from a previous project and started playing with them and this is what I got. Now I'm wondering if all of life is like that... bits and scraps and leftovers we do our best to transform into something we cherish.
Roll of wonder installed just in time for the Art Blooms Gala...
Tonight is AnnMarie's Art Blooms Gala. Floral designers create designs that mirror the artwork currently on exhibit and it is amazing. We were able to install my roll of wonder I have titled: "Joy's Horizon." We attached it to the railing of the upstairs gallery.
The back side is almost as cool as the front. I still need to count how many bottles I used. I'm guessing about one thousand. I'm wondering if it will rain glitter.

or is it in the woods? I love the way Ann Marie hides things to be discovered. What a great way to get kids to notice fine art. There are a series of painted vignettes alluding to master works. Here is one of my favorites.
Birdhouse condo and the new fairy neighbors with garrish taste...
I went for a walk this morning and found this birdhouse condo which is where I would choose to live with my chickadee pals if I were a chickadee.
Then I came across these flowers at the base of a tree. Apparently, a new fairy family just moved in and is causing quite a stir in the neighborhood because of their affinity for Betsey Johnson colors. The trolls are threatening to plant poison ivy by the entrance to the patio.
