Collage Envelopes

One of the sweetest side benefits from my work in recycled plastic, are the friends I have gathered along the way, many of whom I have never met. One friend in the state of Washington, makes these beautiful collage envelopes and sends them to me regularly along with stories from her childhood, interesting articles, and her day-to-day activities. What she puts inside the envelopes is as delightful as the outside. This one arrived today, just in time for Mother's Day. My friend and her sister send out Mother's Day cards every year in honor of their mother.
